Oil Pressure Check

1. Check transmission oil level.

2. Check and adjust throttle valve cable.

3. Check shift linkage adjustment.

4. Make sure engine is operating properly.





5. Connect oil pressure gauge to transmission, and tachometer to engine.

6. To check minimum throttle valve line pressure, have throttle valve cable at its minimum travel position, then with brakes applied, transmission in range specified and engine at specified speed, check pressures according to chart.





7. To check full throttle valve line pressure, tie or hold the T.V. to the full extent of its travel, then with brakes applied, transmission in range specified and engine at specified speed, check pressures according to chart.
