1. Remove valve cover.
2. Remove nuts from stud headed cylinder head bolts, then remove valve train support with rocker arms and pivots as an assembly, Fig. 6. Pivot assemblies may be damaged unless rocker arms and pivots are removed as an assembly.
3. Position rocker arm support in suitable vise and remove rocker arms and pivots.
4. Install rocker arms and pivots into valve train support and tighten pivot bolts.
5. Position valve train support over mounting studs and snug tighten retaining nuts.
6. Check pushrods for correct positioning, then tighten nuts alternately and evenly.
