Compressor and/or Mounting Brackets

COMPRESSOR AND MOUNTING BRACKETS- DIESEL ENGINE

R-4 Compressor Hose Assembly Retention:




Compressor Mounting:






REMOVE
1. Compressor clutch electrical connector.
2. Compressor hose assembly bolt (1).
3. Compressor mounting bolts (2) and nuts (3).
4. Rear mounting brackets stud (4) and nut (5) with washer (6).
5. Front mounting bracket studs (7) and nut (8).

INSTALL
^ Install in reverse order, noting the following:

TIGHTEN
^ Front mounting bracket studs (7) 55 Nm and nut (8) 28 Nm.
^ Rear mounting bracket stud (4) 28 Nm and nut.
^ Compressor mounting nuts (3) 55 Nm.
^ Compressor hose assembly bolt (1) 35 Nm.

NOTICE: During removal and installation of the compressor it is important that all lines be capped when disconnected to insure that air, moisture or dirt does not enter the system.
