IV. Transaxle Exchange Program Procedures

NOTICE: If repairs require removal of the unit, and/or removal or disassembly of the channel plate, the transaxle must be replaced with an exchange unit.

An exchange unit may be obtained by contacting your local Cadillac zone representative or zone office. The following information is needed prior to contacting the zone in order to secure an exchange unit:

FIGURE 14 - Transmission I.D. Nameplate:

Dealer name, address and dealer code Vehicle Identification Number and mileage Transaxle model, number and Julian date (refer to Figure 14) Transaxle oil pressures and vacuum check results Details of transmission condition related to request for exchange
