Test Procedures

^ Use TESTING PROCEDURES / ROAD TEST & SYSTEM CHECK TABLE as a guide to normal operation.

^ Enter diagnostic mode to see if there are any trouble codes displayed. If any diagnostic codes are displayed by the BCM or ECM, diagnosis those first. The setting of some trouble codes may cause the ECM or BCM to inhibit the operation of the cruise control. Some trouble codes refer directly to faults in the cruise control system. Refer to COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS for further information not contained in this section or for references to charts or procedures not covered in this section.

^ Refer to DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOM when a result is not normal.
