Electronic Spark Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR CONNECT
- Screws (2) holding bracket to the cowl.
- Carefully rotate bracket to access ESC module.
- ESC module harness connector.
- Screws (2) holding module to the bracket.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
- ESC module.
- Screws (2) attaching module to bracket. Tighten ESC module attaching screws to 1.5 Nm (13 in lbs).
- ESC module harness connector.
- carefully rotate the bracket and position against the cowl.
- Screws attaching bracket to the cowl. Tighten cowl attaching screws to 1.5 Nm (13 in lbs).

LOCATION
Center of engine compartment, on front of dash.
