Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT -
Electrical connector.

Carefully back out
MAT sensor.
INSTALL OR CONNECT -
Coat the sensor with a non-hardening sealer. The sealer should be applied to the sensor threads.

Sensor in engine. Torque to 20 Nm (15 ft lbs).

Electrical connector.
LOCATION LH top of engine, in rear of intake plenum.
