Removal

Liquid Line Filter Installation:






REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Refrigerant.
- Discharge system and recover refrigerant. Refer to Service and Repair / Discharging and Evacuating System. Service and Repair
2. Select and mark the most convenient location for filter (61) on tube assembly (65) between condenser assembly outlet tube and evaporator inlet port connection at the cowl.
3. Tube assembly (65).
- Cap or tape open lines at evaporator inlet port and condenser assembly outlet fitting to prevent dirt or moisture contamination.
4. Original expansion tube.
- Discard expansion tube.
5. Tubing segment for filter installation.
- Remove 70 mm (2.75 inches) of tubing at point selected for filter installation.
- Cut end of tube square with a sharp tubing cutter.
- Cut out internal burr, being sure no shavings remain in two parts of tube that will be reused.
