Removal

Body Control Module:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT


WARNING: Disable the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System. Refer to Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems).

1. Right sound insulator.
2. Glove box module.
3. Nuts securing dual sensor pigtail wiring and resistor module to Body Control Module (BCM) studs and position aside.
4. Nuts securing Diagnostic and Energy Reserve Module (DERM) to DERM/BCM bracket and position DERM aside.
5. Bracket retaining clip from Instrument Panel (IP) wiring harness.
6. Nuts from BCM studs.
7. Screws from DERM/BCM bracket and bracket.
8. Electrical connector and BCM.
