Ignition switch must be in the Off position prior to disconnecting or connecting the EBCM.
1. Remove right and left sound insulators.
2. Disconnect floor outlet, then remove bolt retaining EBCM, Fig 47.
3. Slide EBCM toward accelerator pedal just far enough to expose connector.
4. Disconnect EBCM harness connector, then remove EBCM.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque EBCM retaining bolt to 19 inch lbs.
