Rear Wheel Speed Sensor

The rear wheel speed sensor is an intergal part of the rear bearing assembly. The sensor should be replaced along with the bearing. Do not attempt to remove sensor from bearing. Refer to following procedure to replace:
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove brake caliper attaching bolts and position caliper aside. Do not suspend caliper by brake line.
4. Remove rotor retainers, if equipped. Retainers may be discarded after removal.
5. Remove rotor.
6. Remove four hub mounting bolts, then the hub and bearing assembly.
7. Reverse procedure to install, torquing to specifications.
