Vacuum Pump: Adjustments

With brake pedal depressed, push vacuum valve switch all the way into the retaining clip. Pull the brake pedal to the stop to automatically adjust the valve. On vehicle equipped with anti-lock brakes, release pedal and allow to come to rest. Vacuum dump valve assembly should open at 1-1 5/16 inch pedal travel, measured at centerline of brake pedal pad.
