Arming Sensor

1. Disarm airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM ARMING.
2. Remove glove compartment.
3. Disconnect connector position assurance and electrical connector from sensor.
4. Remove two sensor bolts and sensor.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS/TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS for torque values.
6. Rearm airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM ARMING.
