Dual Sensor

1. Deactivate airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG DEACTIVATION.
2. Remove body computer module and glove compartment assembly.
3. Remove right side-glass defroster hose and position sound insulation away from cowl.
4. Disconnect sensor electrical connector and remove two retaining bolts.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Install sensor with arrow pointing toward the front of vehicle.
b. Torque sensor securing bolts to 98 inch lbs.
c. Following installation, activate airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ACTIVATION.
d. Turn ignition switch to the On position and verify the ``Inflatable Restraint'' indicator flashes 7 to 9 times then turns Off. If indicator does not respond, refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING PROCEDURE/TESTING PROCEDURES/RETRIEVING TROUBLE CODES.
