Forward Servo Assembly Replace

1. Install engine support fixture tool No. J-28467-A, engine support fixture adapter tool No. J-28467-90 and engine support adapter leg tool No. J-36462 or equivalents.

2. Raise and support vehicle.

3. Remove power steering rack and pinion heat shield.

4. Remove power steering rack and pinion mounting bolts and hang steering rack from exhaust pipe flange.

5. Disconnect transaxle and engine mounts.

6. Support rear of frame with jackstand, then loosen front frame bolts and remove rear frame bolts.

7. Lower frame from jackstand, then disconnect power steering lines from right side of frame.







8. Remove servo cover bolts, servo cover, servo piston, sealing ring, apply pin, servo spring retainer and servo spring.

9. Reverse procedure to install.
