Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Replacement

TP Sensor:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Air cleaner upper housing.
2. TP sensor connector.
3. Two TP sensor attaching screws and retainers.
4. TP sensor.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. With throttle valve in the normal closed idle position, install the TP Sensor on the throttle body assembly.
2. Install two TP Sensor attaching screws with retainers. DO NOT tighten screws until TP Sensor is adjusted.
3. TP sensor connector.

ADJUST

1. TP sensor. Refer to TP Sensor Adjustment.
2. Perform TP Sensor/Idle Learn Procedure.
3. Air cleaner upper housing.
