Keyless Entry Transmitter: Service and Repair

1. Reposition rear compartment front trim to access the programming connector located at left or rear compartment.

2. Turn ignition switch "ON."

3. Ground the programming connector.

^ The door lock and rear compartment lid lock will cycle indicating the receiver is in program mode.

4. Depress any button (only once) on each transmitter (maximum of two).

A. The door locks and rear compartment lid lock will cycle once confirming that the transmitter codes are programmed.

B. Any transmitter codes that were previously programmed have been erased.

C. The receiver is now programmed to the transmitters.

5. Disconnect the programming connector.

^ The system will not operate if the ground connection is not removed.

6. Verify operation of transmitters.

7. Reposition rear compartment front trim.
