Spark Plug: Service and Repair

CAUTION: Coated spark plugs. If you smoke while handling coated spark plugs wear gloves to prevent transfer of the coating to cigarettes and subsequent burning of the coating. Wash hands after installing spark plugs.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Spark plug wires at spark plugs.
2. Spark plug from cylinder head.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Spark plug into cylinder head. Make sure spark plug is properly gapped to 0.060" before installation. Tighten spark plugs to 15 Nm (11 lb.ft.).
2. Spark plug wires at spark plugs.
