Front Blower Motor Replacement

FRONT BLOWER MOTOR

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Battery negative (-) cable.
2. Cowl cross-tower brace (two nuts each side).
3. With utility knife cut rubber insulator at guide lines and remove metal patch plate beneath.
4. Blower motor electrical connector, cooling hose and mounting screws.
5. Blower motor from case.

NOTE: It may be necessary to lower front of engine cradle to gain enough clearance for blower motor removal.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

CAUTION: Failure to maintain a 25mm clearance between spark plug wires and HVAC blower motor may result in improper operation or failure of blower motor.

1. Blower motor fan assembly.
2. Blower motor electrical connector, cooling hose and mounting screws.
3. Patch plate and seal insulator patch.
4. Cowl cross-tower brace (two nuts each side).
5. Battery negative (-) cable.
