EGR Valve: Service and Repair
EGR Valve Replacement:
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT 1.
Electrical connector at solenoid.
2.
Two bolts.
3.
EGR valve from stand.
INSPECT EGR passages in the crossover waterpump housing for deposits. Refer to
EGR System Cleaning for more information.
INSTALL OR CONNECT 1.
Cleaned or replacement
EGR valve using new gasket.
2.
Two bolts and tighten to
24 Nm (18 lb ft). 3.
Electrical Connector at solenoid.
