Component Tests and General Diagnostics

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check that the following systems are operating, if not, refer to the below diagnosis first.
^ Power door locks.
^ Universal theft deterrent (if equipped) - Refer to Universal Transmitter. Antitheft and Alarm Systems
^ Courtesy lamps - Refer to Lighting and Horns. Lighting and Horns
^ Trunk release (from trunk lid release switch).
^ Fuel door release (from fuel door release switch).
2. Check COMFORT fuse in the trunk compartment fuse block. If it is open, check for short to ground in CKT 2460 (ORN).
3. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems. (Refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures,"). Diagnostic Aids
