Frame Bushing Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
^ Tools Required:
- J 24319-B Universal Steering Linkage Installer
- J 42090 Rear Support Bushing Installer
- Or Equivalents

1. Remove the rear axle cradle.





2. Remove the protective boot from the top of the support bushing. The boot will lever out by hand.





3. Use the legs of the J24319-B.
4. It may be necessary to place a shim in the center of the bushing to keep the J 24319-B.
5. Press out the bushing.
6. Remove the rear axle support bushing.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Use the J 42090.
2. Install the protective boot to the top of the support bushing.
3. Install the rear axle cradle. Refer to Crossmember Replacement.
4. Adjust the rear toe to specifications.
