Transmitter Programming

A scan tool can be used to program the transmitters (FOBs). The following procedure describes the menu sequence and parameter selection recommended for the scan tool. This procedure is intended to allow the programming of just FOB #1, FOB #2, or both key FOBs.

NOTE: During the programming procedure press the trunk button first, then after holding the trunk button for approximately 1 second press the lock button. Hold both buttons in until the locks cycle. This should take about 5 seconds. Repeat the procedure again if the first attempt is unsuccessful.
^ Install the scan tool.
^ Display the RKE main menu.
^ Select the Special Functions menu.
^ Follow the directions on the screen display.
