Memory Positioning Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Memory Seat Module Replacement: Removal Procedure:




1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the front seat cushion outer finish panel.
3. Remove the seat memory module electrical connectors.
The wiring harness is routed under the front seat cushion frame and secured by tie straps.
4. Remove the memory module screw.
5. Remove the seat memory module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Memory Seat Module Replacement: Installation Procedure:




1. Install the seat memory module.
If memory module control has been replaced it must be reprogrammed using a scan tool.
2. Install the seat memory module screws.

Tighten
Tighten the seat memory module screws until fully seated and not stripped.

3. Install the seat memory module electrical connectors.
The wiring harness is routed under the front seat cushion frame. Use tie downs to secure wiring harness to seat frame.
4. Install the front seat cushion outer finish panel.
5. Install the front seat.
