Cruise Control Cable Adjustment

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Cruise Control Cable Replacement: Removal Procedure:




1. Remove the cruise control cable from the heater hose clip (2).

2. Open the cable adjusting lever (1).

3. Slide the cable (1) together or apart in order to adjust the vertical endplate:

Specification
Vertical endplay (minimal deflection): 2.0 to 4.0 mm (0.08 to 0.16 in)

4. Close the adjusting lever (1).

5. Verify the cruise control system operation. Install the cruise control cable to the heater hose clip (2).
