Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Service and Repair
Ambient Temperature Sensor:
Remove or Disconnect 1.
Radiator core plastic cover.
2.
Sensor electrical connector.
3.
Retaining bolt and sensor from bracket.
Install or Connect 1.
Sensor to vehicle.
Tighten ^
Sensor retaining screw to
2 N.m (18 lb. in.) 2.
Electrical connector to sensor.
3.
Radiator core plastic cover.
