Front Fender

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Fender Replacement - Front: Removal Procedure:




1. Remove the headlamp.
2. Remove the front bumper fascia.
3. Remove the hood.
4. Remove the front fender to hood seal.
5. Remove the rear outer hood seal.
6. Remove the front wheelhouse panel.
7. Remove the front fender sound insulator.
8. Remove the rocker panel molding.
9. Remove the bolt (2) retaining the lower front portion of the front fender (1).

Fender Replacement - Front: Removal Procedure:




10. Remove the boils (3) retaining the lower rear portion of the front fender (2).

11. Remove the nut (3) retaining the upper rear portion of the front fender (2).

12. Remove the bolts (2) retaining the upper portion of the front fender (1).
13. Remove the front fender (1) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Fender Replacement - Front: Installation Procedure:




1. Install the front fender (1) to the vehicle.
2. Install the bolts (2) to retain the upper portion of the front fender (1).

Tighten
Tighten the bolts (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Fender Replacement - Front: Installation Procedure:




3. Install the nut (3) to retain the upper rear portion of the front fender (2).

Tighten
Tighten the nut (3) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

4. Install the bolts (3) to retain the lower rear portion of the front tender (2).

Tighten
Tighten the bolts (3) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

5. Install the bolt (2) to retain the lower front portion of the front fender (1).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

6. Install the front bumper fascia.
7. Install the hood.
8. Install the front fender to hood seal.
9. Install the rear outer hood seal.
10. Install the front wheelhouse panel.
11. Install the front fender sound insulator.
12. Install the rocker panel molding.
13. Install the headlamp.
