Navigation Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Navigation Display Module Replacement: Removal Procedure:




1. Remove the instrument panel center trim plate.
2. Remove the console trim plate.
3. Remove the heater and A/C control and navigation display module bracket fasteners.
4. Pull the heater and A/C control and navigation display bracket out far enough to disconnect the electrical connectors from the navigation display module.
5. Remove the navigation module retaining screws.
6. Remove the navigation module from the module bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Navigation Display Module Replacement: Installation Procedure:




1. Install the navigation module to the module bracket.
2. Install the navigation module retaining screws.

Tighten
Tighten the navigation retaining screws to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connectors to the navigation module.
4. Install the heater and A/C control and navigation module bracket retainers.
5. Install the console trim plate.
6. Install the instrument panel center trim plate.
