Memory Positioning Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Memory Seat Module Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
2. Remove front bucket seat.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
4. Drill rivets retaining the memory seat module.
5. Remove the module from the seat.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Memory Seat Module Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Position the memory seat module.
2. Rivet or fasten with self-tapping screws.
3. Install the electrical connectors.
4. Install the front bucket seat.
5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
