Seat Temperature Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Heater Module Replacement: Removal Procedure:




1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
2. Remove the front bucket seat.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
4. Drill out the rivets retaining the heated seat module.
5. Remove the module from the seat.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Heater Module Replacement: Installation Procedure:




1. Position the heated seat module.
2. Rivet or fasten with self-tapping fasteners.
3. Install the electrical connectors.
4. Install the front bucket seat.
5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
