Ignition Module Removal
1.
Disconnect the remaining spark plug wires from the
spark plugs.
2.
Remove all spark plug wires from the ignition coil pack and store in a safe location.
3.
Disconnect the ground strap (1) from the cylinder head.
4.
Remove the ignition coils and control module retaining bolts.
5.
Remove the ground strap.
6.
Remove the ignition coils and control module (2) as an assembly from the camshaft cover.
