TP Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable to avoid accidental starting of the engine.

Throttle Body And Coolant Pipes:

3. Remove the Throttle Body Assembly.

Description:

4. Remove the TP sensor (1) mounting bolts (4) from the TP sensor.
5. Remove the TP sensor (1) from the throttle body.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Description:

1. Install the TP sensor (1) on to the throttle body.
Tighten the TP sensor screws (4) to 2.3 N.m (20 lb in).
2. Reinstall the Throttle Body Assembly.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
4. Reinstall the rear seat cushion.
