Spark Plug Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT
^ Do not remove the spark plugs when engine is warm.
^ Clean dirt and digress from the spark plug recess area.
^ Use care when removing the spark plug boots from the spark plugs. Twist the boot 1/2 turn before removing the boot and the PULL ON THE BOOT ONLY to remove it. DO NOT PULL ON THE WIRE as this may damage the spark plug wire.

1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug.
3. Remove the spark plug from the cylinder head.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Measure and adjust the gap of the spark plugs.
2. Install the spark plug into the cylinder head.

Tighten
Tighten the spark plug to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

3. Install spark plug boot onto spark plug.
4. Install the intake manifold cover.
