Spark Plug Wire Harness Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT:
^ Do not remove the spark plugs when engine is warm.
^ Clean dirt and debris from the spark plug recess area.
^ Use care when removing the spark plug boots from the spark plugs. Twist the boot � turn before removing the boot and the PULL ON THE BOOT ONLY to remove it. DO NOT PULL ON THE WIRE as this may damage the spark plug wire.

1. Verify that the ignition system is off.
2. Remove the intake manifold cover.
3. Remove spark plug wires from the ignition coils.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the spark plug wires on top of the engine
2. Install the spark plug wires into the intake manifold cover channels.
3. Connect the spark plug wires to the spark plugs. Make sure the boots are fully seated.
4. Connect the spark plug wires to the ignition coils.
5. Install the intake manifold cover.
