Inside Air Temperature Sensor Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the I/P upper trim panel.
2. Remove the I/P cluster.
3. Remove the left sound insulator.
4. Remove the steering column filler.
5. Pull the inside air temperature sensor (1) towards the front of dash to release clips the sensor clips from the Instrument Panel (I/P).




6. Disconnect the electrical connector.




7. Remove the sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Route the sensor into the I/P.




2. Using a flat blade screwdriver (inserted through the access hole in the I/P (1) to aid in the alignment of the sensor clips into the I/P.
3. Once the sensor is aligned use the screwdriver to install the sensor into the I/P.




4. Connect the electrical connector.
5. Install the steering column filler.
6. Install the left sound insulator.
7. Install the I/P cluster.
8. Install the I/P upper trim panel.
