Power Steering Pressure Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Drain the power steering fluid from the reservoir.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the pressure switch.





4. Remove the power steering pressure switch (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the power steering pressure switch (3).
^ Tighten the pressure switch to 10 Nm (8 ft. lbs.).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions

2. Connect the electrical connector to the power steering pressure switch.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Fill the power steering system.
5. Bleed the power steering system.
6. Inspect for power steering fluid leaks.
