Power Mirror Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the mirror lens.
2. Disconnect the outside rearview motor connector.
3. Remove the motor screws.
4. Remove the motor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the motor.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the motor screws.

Tighten
Tighten the outside rearview motor screws until fully seated but not stripped.

3. Connect the motor connector.
4. Install the mirror lens.
