Scan Tool Data Definitions - Cruise Control

The Scan Tool Data Definitions list contains a brief description of all of the cruise control related parameters that are available on the scan tool. The list is arranged in alphabetical order. A given parameter may appear in any one of the data lists. In some cases the parameter may appear more than once, or in more than one data list in order to group certain related parameters together.

Cruise Release Brake Switch - (Applied/Released): This parameter displays whether the cruise brake switch is applied or released, based on the signal received by the ECM.

Cruise Switch-(On/Off): This parameter displays whether the cruise switch is ON or OFF, based on the signal received by the ECM.

Resume Switch-(On/Off): This parameter displays whether the cruise control resume switch is ON or OFF, based on the signal received by the ECM.

Set Switch-(On/Off): This parameter displays whether the cruise control Set switch is on or off, based on the signal received by the ECM.

Stoplamp Brake Switch Input - (Applied/Released): This parameter displays whether the stoplamp brake switch is applied or released, based on the signal received by the ECM.
