Window Guide Replacement - Door

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Handling Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Disable SIR system, if equipped with inflatable restraint side impact system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Restraint Systems.
2. Front door window in the up position.
3. Remove front door trim panel.
4. Remove front door water deflector.
5. Remove inflatable restraint side impact sensor mounting plate, if equipped.
6. Remove front door window guide screws.
7. Remove front door window guide.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install front door window guide.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install front door window guide screws.

Tighten
Tighten the window guide screws until fully seated, but not stripped.

3. Install inflatable restraint side impact sensor mounting plate, if equipped.
4. Install front door water deflector.
5. Install front door trim panel.
6. Enable SIR system, if equipped with inflatable restraint side impact system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Restraint Systems.
