Rear Body Mount Replacement (FE7)

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the tires wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels, Tires and Alignment.





3. Using a block of wood and a suitable jack, support the exhaust and the rear support assembly.





4. Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement in Exhaust System.





5. Remove the center support brackets (1).
6. Remove two rear support assembly bolts.
7. Lower the rear of the support assembly.





8. Remove two bolts at the body mount.
9. Remove the rear body mount.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear body mount.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts securing the body mount.
Tighten the bolts to 77 Nm (57 ft. lbs.).





3. Raise the support assembly.
4. Install the two rear bolts securing the support assembly to the vehicle body.
Tighten the bolts to 207 Nm (153 ft. lbs.).





5. Install the center support bracket bolts (1).
Tighten the center support bracket bolts to 128 Nm (94 ft. lbs.)





6. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement in Exhaust System.
7. Install the tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
Tighten the wheel nuts to 125 Nm (80 ft. lbs.).
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Inspect and adjust rear toe. Refer to Rear Toe Adjustment (FE1, FE3) or Rear Toe Adjustment (FE7) in Alignment.
