Grille Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.




2. Remove the fasteners (3) retaining the grille supports (2) to the hood (1).
3. Remove the fasteners retaining the grille supports (2) to the grille (4).
4. Remove the grille supports (2) from the grille (4).




5. Remove the nuts (3) and the 2 screws retaining the grille (2) to the hood (1).
6. Remove the grille (2) from the hood (1).



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the 2 screws to retain the grille (2) to the hood (1).

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

2. Install the nuts (3) to retain the grille (2) to the hood (1).

Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Install the grille supports to the grille.

Important: Loosely install all of the grille retaining fasteners before tightening.


4. Install the nuts to retain the grille support to the grille.

Tighten the nuts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).





5. Install the fasteners (3) to retain the grille supports (2) to the hood (1).

Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

6. Close the hood.
