Heater Temperature Sensor Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The left heater temperature sensor (1) is shown, the right is similar.




1. Remove the closeout/insulator panel.
2. Grasp the heater temperature sensor (1) and twist counter clockwise 1/4 turn in order to release the sensor from the heater outlet duct (2).
3. Remove the heater temperature sensor from the duct.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the heater temperature sensor.
5. Remove the sensor from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector to the heater temperature sensor (1).
2. Align the heater temperature sensor (1) with the opening on the heater outlet duct (2).
Install the heater temperature sensor (1) into the heater outlet duct (2).
3. Rotate the heater temperature sensor (1) 1/4 turn in order to secure the heater sensor in the heater duct (2).
4. Install the closeout/insulator panel.
