Navigation Module: Service and Repair

Navigation Display Module Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel center trim plate.
2. Remove the Heater and A/C (HVAC) control.
3. Push and hold the release tabs on the left and right sides of the navigation display (1) in order to release the navigation display (1) from the IP.




4. Partially remove the navigation display from the IP in order to disconnect the antenna (2) and the electrical connector (1) from the navigation display.
5. Remove the navigation display from the IP.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Partially install the navigation display in order to connect the antenna (2) and the electrical connectors (1).




2. Align the navigation display alignment pins to the IP opening and push the navigation display (1) toward the front of the vehicle until an audible click is heard.
3. Tug on the navigation display (1) in order to verify the navigation display is secured in the IP.
4. Install the HVAC control
5. Install the IP center trim plate.
