Engine Oil Pressure Switch Replacement




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the oil pressure switch (1).
3. Remove the oil pressure switch (1) from the oil filter adapter housing (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the oil pressure switch (1) to the oil filter adapter (3).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the oil pressure switch to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

2. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the oil pressure switch (1).
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Check the engine oil, add oil if necessary.
5. Start the engine and check for leaks.
