RECIRC Setting

When the RECIRC button is pressed, the Light Emitting Diode (LED) will illuminate. The RECIRC switch signals the programmer to energize the air inlet actuator. Air is recirculated through the Heating, Ventilation, And Air Conditioning (HVAC) system from the passenger compartment.

The RECIRC mode is available for operation in the following modes:
1. UPPER
2. LOWER
3. BI-LEVEL

RECIRC is not available during the DEFROST and the DEFOG modes because this may cause windshield fogging.

While RECIRC is operational, any ignition cycle will cancel the function and allow the outside air into the system.

The manual RECIRC will remain activated until one of the following conditions occurs:
^ The RECIRC button is pressed a second time.
^ The front defrost mode is selected.
^ The DEFOG mode is selected.
^ The AUTO button is pressed.
^ The OFF button is pressed.
