Upper Front Fender Filler Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.



Remove the upper filler panel. Refer to Filler Panel Replacement - Upper (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the fasteners that retain the gusset to the upper tie bar.
3. Remove the gusset.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the gusset.
2. Hand start the fasteners in order to retain the gusset.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Tighten the fasteners in the following order:

* Rearward outboard first
* Forward inboard second
* The remaining three fasteners third

Tighten the fasteners to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).






4. Install the upper filler panel. Refer to Filler Panel Replacement - Upper (Service and Repair) .
5. Close the hood.
