Shock Sensor: Service and Repair




REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Remove the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the compartment trim plate.
3. Remove the shock sensor connector.
4. Remove the shock sensor from console by pulling unit off from the adhesive pad.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Clean surface where new adhesive pad will mount.
2. Install the shock sensor into the console.
3. Install the shock sensor connector.
4. Install the compartment trim plate.
5. Install the negative battery cable.
