Towing Hook / Bracket: Service and Repair

Tow Hook Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the tow hook (3) bolts from the frame rail.
2. Remove the (2) tow hook and the (1) plate from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the (2) tow hook and the (1) plate to the frame rail.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the frame rail to the tow hook (3) bolts.

Tighten the frame to the tow hook bolts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).
