Body Side Window Replacement

Removal Procedure

The latched side window is a one-piece assembly that includes the following:

* The window
* The weatherstrip/window frame
* The latch assembly






1. Remove the latch screw.
2. Remove the hinge screws.
3. Disconnect the window assembly.
Do not replace the weatherstrip/window frame unless it is damaged.
If damaged, the weatherstrip/window frame must be cut out and replaced.



Installation Procedure





1. Connect the window assembly.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the hinge screws.

Tighten the hinge screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the latch screws.

Tighten the latch screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
