84. Ignition Module Installation - Left

Ignition Module Installation (Left)





1. Ensure the RFI/ground spring (1) and the seal (2) are in place and inspect each for serviceability.





2. Install the left spark plug boots onto the ignition coil assembly.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





3. Install the left spark plugs.
- Tighten the spark plugs to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).





4. Position the ignition coil assembly on the left camshaft cover.

Important: DO NOT damage the ignition coil perimeter seal.





5. Install the ignition coil assembly bolts in sequence.
- Tighten the ignition coil assembly bolts to 9 Nm(80 lb in).
